The Magazine Committee would like to extend its deepest thanks to Trevor Jones, who has been the Editor of Radiation Protection Today since its inception in 2021 and is now stepping down from the role.

The role of the Editor is significant – creating the outline for the issue, soliciting for magazine articles, shepherding submitted articles through feedback, finalisation and approval- then checking the galley proofs and making changes where required through to final publication.

Trevor has undertaken the role with passion and commitment, paying attention to all the details necessary to produce a quality magazine, free from errors and interesting to our readers. The amount of personal effort he has put in is recognised and he was awarded SRP ' s Founders ' Medal in 2023. It will take a lot to fill his shoes!

Trevor, our deepest thanks and appreciation for your professionalism, humour, leadership and contribution to the Magazine Committee. The success and quality of the magazine is evidence of your hard work. We look forward to continuing to work with you as an ongoing contributor to the Committee and will endeavour to continue the good work which you started.

The position of Editor will now be filled by Maureen McQueen, the previous Deputy Editor, with Samantha Watson stepping up from the Committee as the new Deputy Editor. Both Maureen and Samantha have been on the Magazine Committee team since its inception.
